Today I’m remembering my friend Tim Petrusa (who tragically passed away last week), by posting this video of him beatboxing into my iPad earlier this year. He was amazingly talented and always helped put me in a good mood no matter what he did. I really miss him. Like, a lot.
When? Whenever you fucking feel like coming in and dancing!

In other words, don’t go into Delia’s. Just… don’t.
Lol. Sounds about right.
One of the funny things about working at Delia’s is that we HAD to talk to EVERYONE - guys, girls, parents, grandparents, EVERYONE. I avoided it at all costs unless my manager was around but usually I would wait for my manager to start talking first so that I could sneak away and avoid all human contact. Working at Delia’s was a very strange job but it was always interesting and sometimes kinda fun.
Since today is a day of long renders and transfers, I’ve been playing with the Super 8 app for iPhone. My friend and I have been sending each other abstract movies all day. I decided I’d up the ante and upload these bad boys (and by “bad”, I mean “terrible”) to YouTube - mostly to share with my brother.
This particular clip features Sad Keanu, Google Translate and my glitter lamp on my desk. I had to stay close to my computer speakers in order to get the French voice over. Maybe I’ll see if I can get her to go mobile next time…
The Battleship is back! But what’s this? It has been renamed. Its new name is now 4 Loko because of its erratic behavior - including total system failure. It think it’s appropriate.
Tim, our audio guy, is a total badass. He’s also a man of many talents. One of his (many) talents is beat boxing. Here he is beat boxing into Garage Band while we were doing an extended data transfer
Found this l’il guy in the parking lot at work. Looks like someone was having a good time!
In case anyone cares - our trainer that was in Japan during the earthquake last Friday was able to make it safely back home last night and he’s at the office in one piece today.
This earthquake is freaking me out because I’m worried about our Japanese team. And we have 1 corporate member over there for a training this week. Thankfully he was able to email and tell us that he and the rest of the Japanese team are all okay. One of the members had to sleep in his office but so far, that was the worst of it. Thank goodness!
I’m so used to the friendly light crew/sound crew banter from my high school days. I suppose I should put some pro-sound crew posts up here too. I really do love sound crew, it’s just too much fun to tease them. ^_^
Oh Sweet Mother of God YES
