Okay - I just ordered some Alexander Wang rip-offs on eBay. Stoked! Can’t wait to rock those out when they arrive! They’re not exactly the same but I don’t care - these look great! AND they’re less than the original price by about a bazillion dollars!

GPOYW —> I bought some Eye Def cream eye shadow from Hard Candy this morning on my way in to work today. It’s a pretty colour (#330 Sprinkles) but there are a few downsides…
- It gets over everything
- I’m not too experienced with cream eye shadows. Shit, I’ve only just gotten used to pigment powders (which I kinda prefer…)
- Did I say it gets all over everything???
- After you close it and lay it on its side, it leaks (WTF?!) I found out the hard way by throwing it in my makeup bag and seeing little flecks of Sprinkles ALL OVER my stuff >:|
- When you line your eyes (I use Cover Girl Liquiline Blast- which I LOVE), the eyeliner/shadow gets cakey if you try to smudge it, so you have to reapply the shadow and the eyeliner and not smudge the liner. I’m sure it might be different with a liquid or cream liner…
- The tube it comes in is a weird shape: it’s test tube-ish and the semi-flat part is on the applicator, so you can’t stand it up on the semi-flat part or else it will leak all over the place
But it is pretty and vibrant and I like it so I guess I will have to suffer through it. I guess me starting a smoky eye and then putting the Eye Def shadow over it has made it a little more difficult to work with but give me a break - I’m learning!! It’s not too bad…
